The Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare has suspended the renewal of Stanford Employment Pvt. Ltd. (RL 1352), a manpower export company, on charges of extorting huge amounts of money from overseas workers and not providing flights, collecting more money from workers than the government has set, illegal human trafficking, not resolving complaints of cheated workers, and other irregularities and corruption.

Investigation of the complaint revealed that the accused recruiting agency Stanford Employment Pvt. Ltd. (RL 1352) has been defrauding overseas workers in various ways. Multiple complaints have been filed with the BMET office in this regard.

BMET complaint cell found multiple complaints against them. An official who did not want to be named said that multiple letters have been sent to the concerned recruiting agency in this regard. But they are delaying in resolving the issue.

Meanwhile, after checking the office of Stanford Employment Pvt. Ltd. (RL 1352), it was learned that without renewing the recruiting license, they are giving flashy advertisements for recruiting workers and providing visas to other countries including Singapore, Saudi Arabia. The victimized worker and his family have demanded that the concerned authorities take quick and effective steps to stop these frauds.
